How does it work? We have a five step process that was developed by Basic Coatings, the wood flooring industry leading manufacturer of wood floor finishes. Phases 1-3 are a chemical wash, and an abrasion process that rinses, softens, removes, and prepares the existing finish to receive another coat of urethane. Phase 4 is a bonding, sealant, and the Phase 5 is the finishing coat of urethane of your preference. We rarely have to sand a floor to bring back the life, luster and value so there is never any dust, mess, odor, or sanding.
